Consett Fire Service worked alongside DABGC to offer an activity and Educational Day on the 3rd June. Ten young people from Mid Durham Youth Project attended this with Fire Staff showing them the workings of the Fire Station. A team building activity session and then a question and answer session where they discussed careers in the service and fire safety followed this. Thanks to Tina Townson and the Consett Fire Service for the use of their personnel and fabulous facility to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable day for the young people.
