Our county round of the DABGC Pool championships were held at Lambton Street Youth Centre on the 16th March 2017 and we are sincerely grateful to Kevin Howard and his staff for making us so welcome. The winners were:

Under 14 - Winner Nathan Ord Boldon YP
Under 14 - Runner up Solomon Buckley- Kassem Shincliffe Junior FC
Under 14 - 3rd Place Dainton Ould Lambton Street
Under 16 - Winner Keenan Simmons Boldon YP
Under 16 - Runner up Jack Kennedy Lambton Street
Under 16 - 3rd Place Kaylum Langley Boldon YP
Under 19 - Winner Dylan Sloanes Lambton Street
Under 19 - Runner up Adam Doran Lambton Street
Under 19 - 3rd Place Ryan Atkinson Boldon YP
The winners and runners up in each age group went on to the NABGC Pool finals held in Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire on 7th May 2017 where they had a great day against some strong competition with Keenan Simmons from Boldon YP becoming the under 16 National champion and Adam Doran from Lambton Street the under 19 National Runner-up. All the other Durham representatives played really well with several reaching the semi-final stages of the National finals-a great achievement.
