We had many strong nominations for the Betty Woodward Trophy, which is awarded on an annual basis to the Young Person of the Year from within the affiliated clubs of the Association. The criterion is open-ended except that the young person must be a regular member of the club and aged between 16 years and 21 years. The winners in 2015/16 were Elle Smith from Stanley Young Peoples Centre and Sophie Miller from Lumley Ladies FC.
